What is full fit? From the structure of the screen, we can roughly divide it into three parts, from top to bottom: protective glass, touch screen, and display screen. And these three parts need to be bonded, which can be divided into two types according to the bonding method: full bonding and frame bonding.
Frame adhesive, also known as mouth glue bonding, is a simple method of fixing the touch screen and display screen on all four sides with double-sided tape; There is an air layer between the display screen and the touch screen.
Full lamination technology refers to the seamless and complete adhesion of the display screen and touch screen together using water-based or optical adhesive!
Advantages of full lamination process compared to traditional frame pasting process:
Better display effect. Full lamination technology eliminates the air between screens, significantly reducing light reflection and minimizing light loss, thereby improving brightness and enhancing the display effect of the screen.
The screen isolates dust and moisture. The air layer of ordinary bonding method is easily contaminated by environmental dust and water vapor, which affects the use of the machine; And the fully bonded OCA adhesive fills the gaps, ensuring a tight fit between the display panel and the touch screen. Dust and moisture have nowhere to enter, maintaining the cleanliness of the screen.
Reduce noise interference. The close integration of touch screen and display panel can not only enhance strength, but also effectively reduce the interference of noise on touch signals and improve the smoothness of touch operation.
Make the body thinner. The fully laminated screen has a thinner body, and the touch screen and display screen are bonded together using optical glue, only increasing the thickness by 25 μ m-50 μ m; Thinner than ordinary bonding methods by 0.1mm-0.7mm
Simplify assembly. The assembly of the fully bonded module and the entire machine can be directly fixed by snap fasteners or locking screws, reducing assembly problems caused by bonding deviations and simplifying the assembly process, thereby reducing assembly costs. At the same time, it helps with narrow border design, and the border can be made narrower.
The disadvantages of full lamination process compared to traditional frame pasting process are: complex process, low yield, difficult rework, high cost, and large investment
