Start with where the machine has to travel
The fixed-versus-mobile decision is decided before you compare any specification: it is decided by the route the machine takes. A unit that stays at one wash bay can be heavier, wired to mains power and plumbed to a water supply. A unit that has to cover a forecourt, a parking level or several bays has to be moved, and every kilogram and every cable becomes a cost you pay on each job. Measure the distance, the surface, the ramps and whether the operator has to push the machine through a customer doorway. That answer usually rules out one of the two options on its own.
Then check the power source, because it sets everything else
A fixed machine runs off mains supply and does not have to carry its own energy, so its heater can be larger and its output is limited only by the supply. PowerDe's Fixed Steam Cleaning Machine HW02 is a 220 V unit listed at 6 kW heating power with 160° steam temperature and 0.8 MPa vapour pressure, an 80 L SUS304 tank, dry and wet steam modes and a built-in vacuum function, in a 1,200 × 800 × 1,200 mm body. It is a machine that works where it is installed, and its output stays there all day.
A mobile machine carries its own supply, so its working voltage and runtime are properties of the machine rather than of the building. The Driving Style Steam Cleaning Machine PowerDe PWD02 (including battery) is a mobile active-water unit with dry-steam, wet-steam and hot-water modes, aimed at indoor garages and narrow outdoor parking spaces, and the page also lists leakage, short-circuit, high-temperature, high-voltage and water-shortage protection. PowerDe publishes PWD02 in two variants — the version supplied without a battery and the version supplied with one — and that difference, not the machine body, is what most buyers have to decide between.
Decide the battery question against your own shift
Buy the battery version if the route genuinely needs it: no usable supply at the point of work, several bays in sequence, or a forecourt where a cable across a customer's parking space is not acceptable. Buy the without-battery version if the machine works from one point with a supply available, because you then stop paying for a pack you will not use, and you stop owning a pack that has to be charged, stored and eventually replaced. Do not decide this from the catalogue; decide it from a map of the jobs and where the supply actually is.
One caution before you commit: the product pages for the PWD02 variants do not publish battery capacity, run time per charge or charger output. If your shift length depends on those figures, ask PowerDe for them in writing rather than inferring them from the model name.
Compare output per minute, not output per machine
A larger fixed machine is only better if the operator spends the time cleaning rather than walking. Count the working minutes per job for each option on your own route: a mobile unit that saves fifteen minutes of movement per car can out-produce a higher-output fixed unit that the operator has to drive the car to. Conversely, on a single high-volume bay, the fixed machine's higher heat and pressure and its larger tank usually win because there is no route to save.
Check what each option needs from your site
Both options make demands. A fixed machine needs a suitable position with the right supply, a water inlet, drainage for the run-off, and floor that can take the weight. A mobile machine needs a charging place, a refill point, and a route that stays passable. Write those demands down as installation work and price them: quite often the fixed option is cheaper than it looked once the wiring, plumbing and drainage are added, and the mobile option is cheaper than it looked once the charging point is included.
Confirm the scope each page actually lists
Do not let a model name carry claims. PowerDe's cleaning pages describe the PWD02 family as intended for indoor garages and narrow outdoor parking spaces, and the HW02 page describes vehicle exterior cleaning at stations and parking areas, interior vacuuming and disinfection, and engine-compartment cleaning. If your business includes other work — workshops, kitchens, livestock buildings — ask before you assume a listed model covers it.
Put both options in front of the supplier
Shenzhen PowerDe Automation Precision Equipment Co., Ltd. has been building automation and precision equipment in Shenzhen since 2007, and its engineering services cover customized configurations when a site layout will not work with a catalogue unit. Send your route, your available supply and your job volume to the contact page and ask which of the two configurations fits that site, with the run-time figures quoted explicitly.
