Why the review comes before the quotation
A mobile steam cleaning machine combines a heater, a water tank, one or more battery packs, a pump, and a steam lance. Change one input on site and the right answer changes with it. A unit that runs on mains power behaves differently from one that runs on batteries. A site with a water tap behaves differently from one where the tank must be filled by hand. Rather than guess, we ask for the operating picture and check it against the models already in the Cleaning Equipment Series.
What to send us
Write these items in plain language in your enquiry. Photos and a short video help, and rough numbers are fine at this stage.
- Where the machine works: indoor garage, outdoor parking lot, mixed, or a fleet yard.
- How the operator reaches the vehicle: walking behind a cart, riding the machine, or driving between bays.
- Power available at the point of use, including voltage, socket type, and cable run length.
- Water supply: a nearby tap, a hose reel, or manual filling only.
- Drainage: is standing water allowed on the floor, and how far can the machine sit from the vehicle?
- Daily workload: number of vehicles, typical job time, and number of shifts.
- Target cleaning tasks: exterior bodywork, engine compartment, interior, or hard-to-reach areas.
How we read that information
With the site details above, the review answers four questions, and each one points to a different model in the range.
Mobility. Sites with narrow bays and long distances between them are the reason the driving-style models exist. The driving style PowerDe PWD02 and the driving style PowerDe PWD01 are listed as mobile active-water machines for indoor garages and narrow outdoor parking spaces. Where the operator walks the machine, the hand pushed PowerDe HMW3 is the more natural starting point.
Power source. Every mobile model on the site is listed in two versions, one including a battery and one without. A garage with a stable mains connection does not need batteries. A yard with no power at the washing point does. If a fixed installation is possible, the Fixed Steam Cleaning Machine PowerDe HW02 is described on its product page as a 220 V machine for vehicle exterior cleaning at gas stations and parking lots.
Mode set. The mobile active-water models listed for vehicle work are described with dry-steam, wet-steam and hot-water modes. The hand-pushed and fixed units in the same series are listed with dry- and wet-steam modes. If a job needs a large volume of warm water rather than dry steam, that difference in mode set matters more than any single specification figure.
Working limits. We match the machine to the shift, not to the brochure. Battery models need a charging plan and a place to charge. Mains models need a cable run that reaches the vehicle. Tank capacity decides how often the operator stops to refill, which is why the water supply question above is more important than it looks.
What you receive back
After the review we reply with a short recommendation that names the candidate model, states which variant (battery or no battery) fits the power situation, and lists the accessory set needed for the cleaning tasks you described. Where the site data does not publish a figure you asked about, we say so rather than estimate it. Published specification pages are the reference we quote from, and any number that is not published there is confirmed with our engineering team before it reaches your quotation.
