A steam cleaning machine that can be driven to the job is only useful if the battery, gun, lance, hoses and charger can actually live on it. Before we quote a PowerDe HMW2 for your fleet, we ask for a short configuration review. The goal is simple: match the machine to your bay sizes, power supply, water supply and shift pattern so the unit arrives ready to work.
What the configuration review covers
Send us the facts below and our engineers will return a recommended configuration, a wiring and battery note, and a list of what is included and what you still need to provide.
- Site type: indoor garage, underground car park, outdoor parking lot, or a mix. Note ceiling height, ramp gradient and the narrowest aisle you have to drive through.
- Water supply: is there a tap within hose reach of every wash position? The HMW2 fills from tap water through a 4-point internal-tooth joint, and a 60 L clean-water tank carries you between refills.
- Power plan: will you keep spare 48 V batteries on a charger, or does the site have mains power close enough for a fixed unit? The driving style HMW2 runs on a customer-provided 48 V battery, so battery capacity and charge time decide your shift length.
- Mode priority: tell us whether you mainly need hot water for bulk rinse, wet steam for light soil, or dry steam where water run-off must stay low.
- Nozzle and gun needs: vehicle bodies, wheels, engine compartments and interior trim each call for different lance and nozzle choices, plus a brush where paint or fabric is involved.
- Volume and shift pattern: vehicles per day, hours per shift and how many operators will share one machine.
What we need from you
No drawings or engineering background are required. A few photographs of your bay, a phone number, and rough answers to the six points above are enough to start. If you already own a steam machine, send its model and the problems you are having with it, such as run time, water refill distance, or hoses that cannot reach the far end of the bay.

We reply with a written configuration sheet: the recommended PowerDe HMW2 steam cleaner variant, the battery guidance for a driving style unit, the accessory set for your surfaces, and any option we advise against for your layout. Where a driving style machine is not the right fit, we will say so and point to a suitable alternative in our PowerDe cleaning equipment range instead of pushing the original request.
