A commercial kitchen steam cleaning machine is only as good as the tools fitted to it. The boiler, the nozzle and the lance get most of the attention, yet in a busy kitchen it is the accessory in the operator’s hand that decides whether a hood, a griddle leg or a floor seam actually comes out clean within the time available between service periods.
The accessories that carry most of the work
On a fixed machine such as the Fixed Steam Cleaning Machine PowerDe HW02, steam leaves the machine at 160 °C and 0.8 MPa. What the operator does with that steam depends on four items.
Fan jet and surface nozzle. A wide, flat spray pattern sweeps across hood panels, wall tiles and floors without driving grease into the surrounding surfaces. Use this for the bulk of the work, and keep the pattern moving rather than holding it in one place.
Focused jet nozzle. A narrow, higher-impact stream lifts hardened carbonised grease from the corners of a filter housing, the underside of a grill and the joints of a stove frame. Switch to this after the loose grease has been removed with the fan jet.
Extension lance and elbow attachments. Exhaust hoods sit above head height and behind filters that cannot be reached from the floor. A lance of the correct length, with an angled head, lets the operator keep the nozzle close to the surface instead of standing on a ladder with an unsupported arm.
Scraper pad and microfibre cloth. Steam loosens the grease; it does not remove it. A flat scraper pad gathers the emulsified film into a line that can be wiped or squeegeed away, and a cloth finishes the surface. Without these two items, the kitchen looks wet at the end of the shift and greasy again by the next one.
Matching the accessory to the kitchen task
Hoods and filters need reach and a flat pattern. Griddles, fryer bodies and stove tops need heat held close to the surface, so a shorter lance and a controlled pattern work better than a long one. Floors and wall tiles need width, and the finish matters more than the steam itself, because the residue has to be collected rather than spread. The central kitchen degreasing work that a fixed machine handles well follows this order: loosening, gathering, collecting, drying.
Before choosing accessories, confirm the fitting size of the machine you already own, along with the 220 V supply and the 6 kW heating load of the HW02. Kitchen circuits are frequently shared with cooking equipment, and an accessory that does not fit the lance only delays the job.
Water quality and the tank
The HW02 holds 80 L of water in a SUS304 tank and takes a tap-water inlet with a 4-point internal-tooth joint. In a hard-water area, scale builds up inside the heater and the steam output falls long before the machine fails. Filtered or softened feed water protects the boiler, and a tank large enough for a full clean means the job is not interrupted halfway through a hood. Both points are decided at purchase, not at the first breakdown.
Choosing a supplier who specifies the accessory set
Shenzhen PowerDe Automation Precision Equipment Co., Ltd. builds cleaning equipment alongside its automation machinery, which matters when the accessory set has to change. If your kitchen layout, cleaning window or reporting requirements need a different configuration, that request can be raised through the customized steam cleaning equipment service rather than solved with improvised parts. Send the equipment list and the cleaning routine, and the nozzle, lance and tank arrangement can be specified against them.
Ask for the accessory list in writing before ordering. A quotation that names the fan jet, the focused jet, the lance length and the collection tools is a quotation from a supplier who expects the machine to be used; one that names only the machine is not.
